Dive the Bunker Group towards the Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef

This area of the Great Barrier Reef is in excellent condition and is full of Underwater Life including Turtles, Eels, all your favourite Reef Fish, Sea Snakes, Reef Sharkes. Cod and lots more.

AllWays Diving is running 3 trips this year on Venus II.  The details of Venus II are listed below.

Venus II

MV Venus II is a comfortable 20 metre (65 feet) cruiser powered by twin Gardener Diesel engines and is an 80 tonne all-steel construction with stabilisers to provide a safe and enjoyable ride at a cruising speed of 10 knots - even in unfavourable sea conditions.

Venus II boasts;

  • Four spacious, air-conditioned guest cabins (1 x four berth, 3 x three berth) with ensuite facilities and ample storage space. All bed linen and two towels are provided for your convenience
  • Air-conditioned saloon and dining area, fitted with VHS video and DVD systems for your entertainment.Venus II Saloon
  • Fully-equipped galley for preparation of all meals during your cruise. (Please note - to help us cater for special dietary requirements, please advise at the time of booking)
  • Covered rear deck for relaxing, alfresco dining or just enjoying the view.
  • Modern state-of-the-art navagational and communications systems, including satellite navagation, autopilot and long range radar, enabling safe all-weather travel and accurate positioning on all dive sites. The vessel is fitted with a comprehensive range of radio and telephone systems- so we are never out of contact range.
  • Desalinator for resupplying fresh water while at sea.
  • Large fuel capacity, enabling a range of 5000 miles (8000 kilometres).

Diving Dates are:

  1. May Day Holiday Weekend - Depart Firday evening 1/5/2009 approximately 9:00PM and return Monday 4/5/2009 at approximately 4:30PM.
  2. Last Weekend of June -  Depart Firday evening 26/6/2009 approximately 9:00PM and return Monday 29/6/2009 at approximately 4:30PM.
  3. Weekend in November -  Depart Firday evening 13/11/2009 approximately 9:00PM and return Monday 16/11/2009 at approximately 4:30PM.

Rates

3 day/ 3 night cruise- $678.00* per person (includes cabin accommodation, all meals and drinks and dive tanks and weights)

If required, secure parking for your vehicle- $15.00* ($5.00 per night).
